The ship was very clean and the service was excellent. All staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the meals and the entertainment. We loved the towel animals made every day for us - put a smile on our face. There was a serious lack of pursers (Guest relations personnel) as we always had to stand in line for quite awhile, and often gave up. We found the excursions a bit pricey. As well, we didn't care for the inflated additional costs. We feel that a soft drink (Coke) should be included in the price, and we shouldn't be charged $1.50 each time we had one. We would prefer that tipping be included in the overall cost. Our experience was very good, otherwise, and we would cruise again.

We were pleased with the selection on ports of call. There were some issues with the uncleanliness of Egypt (May 13) and we were cautioned about eating only what was supplied and do not consume anything with ice or that may have been washed in water. However, nothing was said about washing your hands in the facilities. The meal packets supplied on the bus tour were reused cardboard sacks. The bathroom on the bus was unclean, unsanitary. There was no soap or drying towels. The water to wash your hand was from the holding tank on the bus. Some chlorine was all that was needed to sanitize the water. The ship should have supplied us all with pre-packaged sanitized wash cloths to protect ourselves once off ship. The ship should also have the Windjammer set up for those of us on extended tours (12 1/2 hours) to pack our own lunch and carry with us. I contracted the Norovirus and was isolated and given a one day credit although I put myself into isolation the first day of symptoms and when it continued I sought out medical support. I was sick before I went to the medical facilities that is what took me there. They counted my illness from the time I was seen by them and not from my first symptoms which 24 hours previous.

Dining was excellent every night. Ship was very stable even in heavier sea. The various entertainement and evening show were of high quality and overall pleased us very much. The port of call were very interesting and each had something to offer. Our room was beyond reproach, the purser was attentive and discrete. She proved to be very helpfull to meet our needs. What could be improved... better bargain for shore excursion. Most are very expensives and even basic transportation to and from Airport is expensive considering that most are done by bus and the actual cost would be much lower. Some offered great value, others seemed very expensive. Of course those are optional.

We loved our Junior Suite. There was so much room. A walk in closet and a bathtub in the bathroom....amazing. The shore tours were very good. They took good care of us. I can't believe 12 days went that quickly. The entertainment on the Navigator was outstanding. First night a very good Beatle tribute band that had us dancing in the aisle. The resident singers and dancers and band were very good. There was also a terrific Elton John performer, a pianist from Romania that played like Liberace, a violinist Jacqueline Roche who was amazing and three girls from Milan that sang opera. We never had the time or energy to get to the late night bars where there was always dancing to live music. There is so much to do that there is no way you can do it all. There is internet but it is much slower than we are used to. But honestly, what are we thinking, we are miles from anywhere...it is magic that there is internet! We took the $150 package which put the price at $.30 per minute instead of the standard $.65 per minute and we used it up in the 12 days emailing our family and my husband had a few days of business emails to do. We didn't have a cell phone so this was a good way to keep in touch with home. I loved that there was lots of "light" meal choices in the dining room including a starter, main course and dessert for around 800 calories all together. It meant that you could have great tasting food without feeling so stuffed and left a few calories over for the wine. The cafeteria had something for everyone and lots and lots of fresh fruit available all the time. This was a trip of a lifetime.

Most memorable part of the trip was the stop in Naples and the tour of the Amalfi coast. The most memorable part of the ship was Chops Grille. What could be improved was the decor of the ship - it was dated and some of the carpets were badly stained and in need of replacement. Balconies and balcony furniture were in need of replacement. Robes should have been offered to all guests as well as toilitries (i.e. shampoo and conditioner that was not in a wall unit).

The best thing was not having to drive anywhere. The most memorable was the Athmosphere. What could be improved was the excursions. The Mayan ruins was nice but it took along time to get there and the ferry ride was awfull. The cost was too much for what you got. We would have been better off renting a vehicle on Cozumel and doing our own thing. The trip should include soem free drinks (Pop & Alcohol) and included in your price. Otherwise we had a great experience.

The entertainment abord in the bars was fantastic.....the Promenade is very nice. There was/is so much to do aboard the ship that a week cruise is recommended. It was my second time sailing aboard the Navigator of the Seas and I found the hip somewhat tired in appearance. It could use a spruce up. Many of the carpets were stained and all the cabinents in our stateroom were worn and chipped as were mirrors in bathroom. Also, I have cruised various cruise lines before and found the staff aboard the ship surly, distant, phoney and miserable. I have never cruised where almost every encounter was like this. I had a Windjammer staff actually yell at me when I tried to go in for ICE for my water and the towel girl at the pool was so rude. Our experience was of terrible service.

Best thing about cruise - layout of ship; size of our stateroom (4*); great bathroom with comfortable shower stall with a strong shower head(5*); delicious dining room meals w/great service and great variety at buffet; room service was very prompt; entertainment was super - ice show, comedian show and we saw a great show from the Nelson Twins!; spa & fitness area had everything & used it 4 times; this ship had super facitilites for kids/teens; lots of deck loungers. Most memorable thing about the ship - the promenade & glass elevators. What could be improved - the mattress, sofa bed & pillows in our room (1*)and a childs meal selection in dining room

I really enjoyed the open air spaces. There was plenty of opportunity to be out of doors. The most memorable thing about the ship was the dining area and the excellent, friendly service and delicious food choices. Improved? I would have liked longer stays in our stops along the way. There wasn't enough time to explore.

Another amazing Cruise on Navigator. I can honestly say I don't think I would cruise on any other Cruiseline than Royal Caribbean. Weather was awesome, ports of call were awesome. We LOVED Labadee Island. Crew is outstanding. Stateroom was beautiful;clean;quiet. Windjammer is beyond amazing. Can't say enough. Thank You Royal Caribbean for another memorable Vacation. The shore excursions were so wonderful, breath-taking and educational. The tour guides did an excellent job in giving us lots of valuable information to make our trip enjoyable. There were lots of entertainment available to all age brackets. There is no dull moment. The security and proactive approach to health and sanitation is a top priority. The ship facilities are in excellent condition. Seafood/lobsters night could be added to our dining experience. The brewed coffee can also be improved with a better quality brand to improve its taste and aroma.

- This was our first cruise in Europe and by far the best one for us so far, probably due to the culture that Europe offers, the excellent ports of calls, and a great ship. - The ship was in the 5-star hotel category with great facilities, first-rate entertainment, above average meals. - Great value for money - highly recommended.

I would appreciate more info upon booking; for instance, I would have appreciated knowing ahead of time that my booking for dinner at 6h45 was not confirmed. I was forced to wait in line with a group of dissatisfied customers also waiting to enter for dinner; only at that timme did I learn that my dinner time was not official although it was listed in my booklet; after awaiting time of an hour we were finally seated at the 5th level and had to book each night ahead of time. Second exemple; I was not informed that I could have been piked up at the airport for tranfer to the ship by Royal Carribean; I made arrangement on my own.

The cruise was the best vacation we have ever had. The staff were excellent and the ship had everything you would ever want. The entertainment was superb. The drinks on the ship were quite expensive as well as the water if you wanted to have bottled and the photographs were also quite expensive, otherwise the cruise exceeded my expectations.

Best things: Dining room service. Kids (11 & 13) enjoyed meeting new friends at the kids club. Most memorable about the ship: We like the Royal Promenade layout on the Voyager Class ships. Dinner at Portofino was excellent. The service of our Waiter and Assistant Waiter was also excellent (same as our previous Royal Caribbean cruise and much better than our experience on Princess or Carnival). In general, all of the staff were extremely pleasant and warm (especially when compared to our Princess cruise last year). Need Improvement: The de-barkation process. In particular, the shuttle service from the ship to the Port Entrance in Civitavecchia was dis-organized and a "free-for-all". There was zero organization with respect to where the buses would load. Therefore, crowds of people had to rush to where the buses ended up stopping (different spots for each bus) and then fought to get their luggage loaded into the cargo area in order to board. This process could have been so easily organized by having just one single line designated. The one representative (I assume hired by Royal Caribbean) did not seem to care. Not a very good last impression of a cruise experience.

The best thing about our cruise: The Navigator of the Seas, the overall cleansliness, our junior suite, the dining experience, the destinations - all amazing The most memorable thing about the ship: The comfort, spaciousness and cleansliness of our junior suite, the dining room experience, the choice of on-board sports/activities To be improved: Not telling passengers in advance which exact pier to go to or "mole" was not wise considering the signage is not exactly clear at the port// the airport to pier or pier to airport shuttle bus service cost was ridiculous// there are taxis available to and from the pier if you hire them in advance// the shuttles from the piers to the town centers -there should not be a cost because some were within walking distance but we were not permitted to walk//passengers should have been told about the pier shuttle bus to town centers and the costs before leaving and not once on board - for budgeting and planning// not everyone was there to shop all day or to take tours - the location of the beaches in comparaison to the pier should have been notes on the daily bulletins as well//some of the costs of the excursions especially for children were overpriced// considering the number of teens on board not much was done to attract them to activities//passengers with children should have been told in advance before taking the cruise how the payment of games was going to work//the arcade needed a RCC personnel at least every once in a while to monitor and make sure a code of conduct was followed//the poolside and whirlpool code of behaviour should have been better inforced // the ship could have used more water facilities and activities for children (on the first day one pool was closed)//although we chose to do the automatic gratuties with our seacard, we don't agree with having to tip the "head waiter" when the only thing he did was come greet us, he never helped the waiter or the assistant ever//the 20% europ. tax on on-board purchases was ridiculous because it is not a euop. made ship nor europ. owned ship

The best thing was the entertainment and the ports of call. The most memorable thing about the ship was the sheer size of it. The fact that you can't get pop for free at the pool or at dinner. That should be free! Also it's silly to pay $10 US for a short shuttle ride to a main area of a port. That should also be free. I understand if you're taking an excursion, but just to get from the port to the main part of a town should be free.

The ship was spaciuos ...we really enjoyed visiting the different ports and doing excursions. The dining room was open three levels, the balcony and room was a good size, promenade was amazing. Entertainment and dining room service...too rushed at our table.

The best about our cruise was the destination points and the amazing ship, Navigator of the Seas. Also, the Royal Carribean seated us with two great couples for dining, for the duration of the cruise, whom we've become fast friends with. The most memorable thing about the ship was its size and comfort. The ship was extremely comfortable with many areas dedicated for different activities. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the various bars. The internet service was extremely slow and poor on the ship. We brought our laptop to communicate through Skype with our kids. There were a couple of days, where we could not get a connection, and we were still charged by the minute. Finally, there should be body lotions in the bathrooms. I travel extensively through work, and have stayed at both mid and high end hotels. All of these hotels have had body lotion in the rooms. Royal Carribean should as well.

This was our first cruise and we really enjoyed it. The staff were great, very friendly, helpful people. The food too was great - portions were just the right size and quality and selection were very good. I think the surcharges for restaurants other than the main or buffet dining were unreasonable. I would have liked to go to Johnny Rockets for a snack....onion rings, french fries, etc., but the cover charge of $4.95 would have made the cost unreasonable. Perhaps RCI should consider offering one or two a la carte meals as part of their overall package price like many of the Caribbean AI Hotels do. Also, the ship would dock early in the morning by 7 a.m. - tours would start at 7:30 a.m. with meeting time of 7:15 a.m.. Insufficient time to prepare for the day or to have breakfast. Too early for room service. Only one cafe open to grab a quick bite and a cup of coffee.... no juice available. On returning back to the ship, and looking for a snack, only the one cafe available to get a lite bite. Most times we would miss going to the other bar that offered eats as it was closed by the time we returned. The my time dining option was great. It allowed us to book dinner reservations at whatever time suited us without being seated with a group of strangers. Not sure though if my time diners were offered a different menu from those that had the main dinner seatings. The drink packages did not make sense. If you bought the water package, then you paid extra for all other drinks. If you bought the soda fountain package, you could have unlimited soda fountain drinks but not canned pop. Shops were open only limited hours...mainly in the evenings. No waterslides on pool deck to keep the kids amused. Good variety of entertainment. We really enjoyed the shows in the theatre as well as the live bands that played during the day. It would have been nice if we could have gotten internet service on our interactive in room tv as opposed to going to the business centre to use their computers. RCI also needs to find a better method of tipping. Overall, the whole trip was a great experience....comfortable room, beautiful ship, good food, great ports of call, great tours. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Check in was so fast and was nice to have a priority line for Suite guests. Was way smoother than we expected. Bar service was horrible. Staff were very quick to take your first drink order. After that, you never saw them again. Also, we did not like paying for a drink every time we ordered, would have been nice to receive a final bill once we were ready to leave the bar. We did not have a very good dining experience, we felt we were being pushed throught the "process" and we were the late seating. Food quality was not the best. Speciality dining was not worth the extra money. Store amenities were not very good. Could not buy a magazine or any toiletries on board. We loved our suite, the service was amazing, that exceeded our expectations. All shore excursions we booked through Royal Caribbean were excellent, tour guides were amazing, excursions were well thought out. Condition of ship was very good.

Best thing about the cruise was the "food" and "entertainment"...... Both were excellent.... Also, very impressed with the "organization" of the whole cruise..... The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable at all times.... There were a lot of children on the cruise, which we did not think there would be on this cruise line......

The best thing about the cruise was the services that was provided for us. The most momorable things was the great food, and the room service made available and the entertainment each night. What I would love to see on my next cruise is some more West Indidan Cuisine included in the breakfast menu. Fry Plantain, Fry Snapper, More rice & peas, Ackee and Codfish etc. However even without that is was great cruising with the Royal Caribbean International on the Navigator of the Seas. Awesome ship. Great service and Great entertainment.

The best thing about the cruise was the general smooth glide of the ship. Dining was excellent, the waiters, stateroom attendant had great personality and friendly. On the ship in general service was excellent. Ports we I went was not the best and would not recommend to anyone, but other than that it was a great experience.

as always, this cruise was fantastic. The crew and the service was excellent. I have absolutely no complaints about this cruise and I will never have any as far as Royal Caribbean is concerned. I will not hesitate to recommend this cruise line to my family and friends. If we do decide to go on any cruises in the future, I will not hesitate to choose Royal Caribbean.

I loved how many things they were to do on the cruise, such as the rock climbing and basketball court. The staff was exceptional and I thought the ship was very well organized, i.e. disembarking at the end of the cruise. Children's activites weren't bad, but it was college spring break the week we were there, and there were hardly any kids on board. They had to merge the age camps, and my kids were a little old for some of the activities. The staff was very good and made the best of what they could with the kids they had. Overall, we had a great experience, the kids loved it, and I'd love to go on a cruise again.

The cruise was excellent. Our overall all experience was excellent. There was a great cross section of ages on the ship. There was plenty to do, if you choose to do so. However, if you didn't, you weren't pressured into doing anything. We were surpirsed that the pool was unheated. We would have liked it to be warmer. We found the excersions to be on the expensive side. The staf was incredibly helpful and friendly. The nightly entertainment was a gret way to complete the evening. We would do it again!

The best thing about this cruise was that it was in the price range that we could take our 3 children with us. The most memorable thing about this ship was the outstanding ice show and parades. The thing that could be most improved is a pool for children only because we found that it was very crowded with adults that liked to sit by the pool but didn't enjoy being splashed with water. Overall it is a nice ship that maybe my husband and I would sail on by ourselves but probably would go for a ship with a kids pool if we were to take the family with us.

Weather was great. The employees on the cruise were great and friendly. They all made us fell special. The kids enjoyed all the activities. Most memorable were some ports visited and dinning. You can improve pool area. To many people in one area. Because we had children there was only one area we could go into and it was always full. The pool was not very accomadating to my children. No stairs to wade into pool. My children are not confident swimmers so they spent limited time in the pool. They require water wings to swim and no where on the boat could you purchase it. We bought some on port when we stopped. We shouldn't needed to do that if it was availible to purchase. We were under the impression there was a children pool area on this boat, it showed on the site, but it was not on it. All and all I rate this a great vacation. Next time, pack water wings just in case. Thank-you

Our first cruise with a balcony: we loved it! The Promenade deck is very nicely done. The colors and lighting made it spectacular! The Ice skating show and the Ballroom Fever dance nights were good as well as one comedian. The other shows were so/so. The Spa was super clean and very relaxing!! Loved it! The children activities center looked nice. Our 5 year old did not want to join but the activities looked interesting and we received a flyer every night with the next day's plans! We still had plenty to do even if he did not join (ping-pong/ mini put/ basket ball/ skating etc), never a dull moment!!! The dining room staff were absolutely AWESOME! Very nice and very helpful! The food was GREAT! We all gained weight which is a testament to how good the food was :-)

Our cruise got off to a rough start they couldn't find our room keys at the port and when we went to get on the ship my card key didn't work they had to go back and get me a new one. The four other people in my party cards worked fine. That was the only bump in the road. Once aboard the ship everything was wonderful. Room service could have had more choices on it the cafe closed at 9pm so sometimes the kids were hungry and order room service. The kids ages 18, 14,13 thought there could have been more activities for them. If you are taking children between the ages of 18 and 20 there isn't alot for them. They are too old for the teens room and too young for the bars. They can go in but not allowed to drink. I would travel again on Royal Caribbean without a second thought. Great Ship and alot of fun. We are saving up for next year. We had the family suite at the back of the ship a little noisy and vibrating from the engines but it wouldn't stop me from booking that room again. It had a great big balcony.

Good: Food is good to very good // Lots of lounges and cafes to sit and enjoy a snack or drink. Skating at the ice rink. Memorable: the Promenade and the Ice skating rink. Bad: Coffee is real bad!!! // Smoke from some of the lounges and casino lingers in the non-smoking areas and public areas.

the best thing about the cruise is EVERYTHING, from being pampered with a constant cleaning of the stateroom to excellent dining and the entertainment and the service from everyone. Staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere was awesome. There is nothing like sitting on the balcony enjoying the waves and fabulous sunrise and sunsets. The two ports of call, Grand Caymen and Ocho Rios were not impressive and would not want to go again, but still the warm breeze and the view of the ocean were fantastic. My husband and I would go again and probably a Royal Caribbean ship, perhaps another one like the new one coming up, The Oasis. I also like that they still allow smoking on the balconies and if they stop that, we would not cruise again.

The different options of food was great and as a vegetarian I had lots of choices. The only thing that I found was tough was finding a place to sit on the sun deck during an at sea day. It was very busy and crowded there and I wasn't able to relax as much as I would have liked to. We enjoyed the entertainment and the casino. Next time we will definitely try and upgrade our room. The inside room was very small even though it was a good value. We didn't have much place for all our luggage in the small room. I loved the towel animals and the shopping seminars even though in Grand Cayman lots of stores were closed. The service we received from all departments was impeccable. The weather could have been better but overall we had so much fun and mostly whatever we wanted was on the ship or was take care of for us. We will definitely go back but to a newer ship, a bigger room and warmer destinations not in the month of January.

Best thing - was the staff service up until the final departure. Our wait staff at dinner were excellent. Our stateroom attendant was excellent. I rated them excellent on the survey but see below. Most memorable - the "grandness" of the ship. It was huge and beautiful. What could be improved: the ship provided a survey to complete and pass in either at guest services or on the gangplank however I couldn't find a box to drop off the survey on leaving the ship, the staff checking us off the boat just waved us through with the survey out in my hand. Also - they had a departure schedule all set up with several waiting areas and intervals to leave. However they kicked us out of our waiting area about 25 minutes prior to schedule and we just had to wait in line for a long time in the heat when we could have been waiting in the appointed lounge, it just didn't make sense or a good last impression. Also the WiFi zones on the ship didn't seem to work well, we ended up just using the online centre which wasn't as convenient.

We rate RCL at the top of our list and we were not disappointed. There is major congestion on disembarking, but considering the passenger load I have no idea how it can be avoided. All in all, a good experience.

We thought that our table seating in the dining room was a great match. We really enjoyed eating dinner every night with the other two couples and had a lot in common with them. Not overly impressed with the nightly entertainment shows in the Metropolis Theatre. Charles Peachock should definitely be on every cruise, he was absolutely amazing. El Gaucho was not interesting at all and did not perfom many skills.

Ship lot's of fun, particularly promenade area. We travelled with friends so the overall experience was excellent because of the company and general energy amongst other guests on the ship. Dining in main hall, very dissapointing. Food quality average at best. Also, we were booked for early sitting as opposed to late as requested. With older children this was a hassle and we often arrived late for dinner and were always rushed. We tried to change seating time, unsuccessfully. Security, poor, especially at night, decks vacant. Entertainment excellent. Alternative dining excellent. Stateroom attendants, poor. Disembarkment, very hectic.

We had a fabulous experience. The service was great. The airline lost my husband's luggage and the cruise ship gave him 2 t-shirts, free laundry voucher, free tuxedo voucher and toiletries. They also kept us informed about the lost luggage and their efforts to find it. The ship had many activities and we were never bored. The shows were excellent and were of broadway quality. The food was gourmet quality, even the buffet. The only thing that could be improved was the speaker system. We had a difficult time hearing the overhead announcements and often missed events because of this. The captain also had a deep English accent and it was difficult to understand his announcements.

The sailing from Ft. Lauderdale to San Juan, Puerto Rico was very rough, we found out that the stabilizers on the ship were not working properly - they were supposed to have been repaired before our cruise! Also, when we booked our cruise we booked it as a "35th Anniversary Cruise" - the cruise line asked us what nite we would like to celebrate our Anniversary - we decided on December 25th and confirmed that a few weeks before our sailing. However, when we were on board, none of the staff had any knowledge of a special anniversary celebration for us - we were very disappointed by this. Also, the Cruise Director was not very effective at his job - didn't get the guests involved and his MC ability at the evening shows was abyssymal !

The Good: Our highlight was our starting port. We left from Barcelona, Spain but stayed for 2 nights at a hotel booked through Royal Caribbean. It was a beautiful hotel and the staff were amazing. They had a Royal Caribbean Rep on-site to ask questions or book excursions with. She helped us find our way around Barcelona. I would definitely recommend Hotel Silken Diagonal Barcelona. We really enjoyed: the gym, rock climbing wall, ice skating rink, movies and many more activities. We participated in a lot of the vitality rewards activities and ended up both receiving a knapsack at the end of our trip. What a great souvenir! One of the sports team members that was great with us was Franka. We loved the cafe in the Promenade. It was convenient to get a tea, coffee, hot chocolate, pastries, pizza etc. all day/night long (although we sat in the back where there was no cigarette smoke). Our Head Waiter was best we have ever had. Most of the time, you never really see the Head Waiter. Ours seemed to come to check on us every night. Our Waiter and our Assistant waiter were also both great. The Bad: The movie theatre is way too small for the amount of people on the ship. You had to go 45 min early to get a seat. During bad weather, they should have used the main theatre. The smoke in the promenade area and stairways was terrible. There is a smoking bar and stairs below from the casino that lead directly to the promenade floor. After dinner was the worst. The stabilizers were not working properly and because we had bad weather, the ship was rocking way more than it should. A couple of the shows were canceled when it was unsafe for the dancers. There were bags everywhere (even in the restaurants and in the stairways) for people who were sick. If you weren't already feeling sick, after you saw the bags, you thought about it more. Apparently the staff was advised not to discuss the lack of stabilizers with passengers and not to admit they weren't working. We changed our room because the noise in the room from the creaks was intolerable. The second room was better, but our ship had 900 less passengers than at capacity and rather than upgrading us, we ended up in a cheaper room. But at least they accommodated us by changing our room. The solarium pool" was not a "solarium" because it is not enclosed like we have had on the last 2 ships we have been on. During the bad weather, no one had anywhere to go. They were running out of towels because passengers were taking 5 towels per person to wrap up like a mummy because there was no where to sit inside except your room and it was too cold outside. We wouldn't go back to this class of ship. Although we loved looking out over the promenade during the shows in there, we would rather have a smoke free area instead and an indoor solarium. Overall we had a good and we would consider that it met our expectations but no better.

Everything was excellent! The people were great and the ship was beautiful. There was one night that the ship was really rocky but I guess that is expected. The only time we had a problem was when we were dealing with 'guest services'... we would pay for things ahead of time so that we wouldn't have to wait in the line-ups but we ended up having to wait in the line-ups anyways because of vouchers/receipts not being delivered to our room as they were supposed to be. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends!

Really enjoyed this ship. The food was spectacular, we didn't even want to go to the specialty restaurants. We thought the Promenade area with the shops, cafes, pubs was fantastic. What entertainment we saw was very good, but spent a lot of time relaxing. Ice show was fun, but filled up fast. I like the fact that although we had the late dining option at 8:30, we were still able to see the evening show before if we wanted. The "shopping" resource was extremely helpful on what to expect when shopping in port and what islands are better for certain items we were looking for. Overall, we liked Royal Caribbean a lot and the Navigator was a marvel on water !

The weather was surprisingly fine for mid-October and the ports interesting, albeit a little short on time. The passengers were an interesting mix of Brits and Spaniards with a few Americans thrown in. Our travel agent warned us about the size of the ship, we should have taken him more seriously....too often it felt like the Vegas Strip on New Year's Eve! The food really was dreadful.....lacking in imagination and totally bereft of vegetables! One was charged for tomato juice at lunch and dinner (it was free at breakfast?) Potable water was not available in the stateroom except through the mini bar. On a more positive note, the coffee was excellent!

This vacation was excellent. The ship was amazing. The excursions were extremly informative and well organized. Overall, this cruise was everything that we expected, and more. Every detail was enacted with providing quality service, from the smallest, to the largest activity, by the extremly professionly staff. They realy made us feel "right at home" and always demonstrated a caring and concerned attitude. We would DEFINITLY recommend this type of vacation to all our friends. Thanks for the GREAT MEMORIES.

We have travelled on Royal Caribbean on numerous occasions and this was by far the least enjoyable all around from the food to the entertainment. The service in the dining roon for breakfast and lunch was absolutely chaotic...the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing, just awful!!!! Hector

The best thing about the cruise was the impeccable organization of everything from the beginning to the end. The most memorable thing about the ship was the staff and their incredible customer service. Sometimes, after we would come back from a shore excursion, they would have only one restaurant open and it was always crazy busy (this would be mid-day or within one hour from dinner hour. Also, breakfast time on the mornings of the excursions was crazy busy in the main restaurant. Also, I think there should be separate excursions for the more elderly or less mobile individuals.

Best thing about the ship was the stateroom. Never had a balconey before and it makes all the difference. After the Navigator, our Barcelona hotel room seemed cramped! Would have liked a bathtub but few ships feature them except in suites. My wife and I are history buffs and so the ports, particularily Istanbul and Malta, were the highlights of the cruise. As to the ship, don't you think tjhey are getting TOO large? And the increased emphasis on security (and on protecting the booze sales on board) is rather intrusive. Metal and alcohol shakedowns may be part of life, but more emphasis on courtesy and use of the word "please" is in order. This is not to reflect poorly on personal staff services . Our stateroom steward and our waiter at table 314 were excellent. I must say that ship food does seem to have become less "special", or is it that our tastes have become more demanmding?. I seem to remember ships one tenth the size of the Navigator with much more memorable food. How about more NO EXTRA COST gourmet menues, and less rock wall climbing? Also the ship's "library" stock was very poor, buit we were impressed to find a daily CANADIAN newssheet. Overall it was a great cruise and we would not hesitate to go with Royal Caribbean again. Thanks, Ron Boyce

We had a wonderfull time, Royal is really good and everything was fabulous. Nevertheless I have to report to you the following: I got throat inflammation due to the air conditioner in the ship. Some places it is so strong that the difference of temperatures from one place to another really makes you shiver. More than one person had the same problem and I lost my voice in about 2 evenings. The other report is more serious. We were on an excursion to Ephesus and had lunch there. The trip was fabulous, the guide was the best, but the following day we were both with gastro-intestinal problems. Then we found out that at least 80 people were with the same problem. I managed to get on with everything but my husband was really sick, in bed and missed 1 lunch and 2 dinners. Luckily I had some medicin with me and it helped him. We went to the doctor, but the first time it was closed and since it was not urgent we did not call the emergency services. The second time there was such a huge line of people that we gave up to see the doctor. I think that Royal should be informed of this, because they arranged the excursion and everything was fine except for the food that we ate at that restaurant called The Train. I am sure by now a lot of people told them but I want to add my complaint, because at least 2 days were very miserable for us and they should take measures to prevent this to happen again to other people. We were very satisfied with Royal services, personnel and food and are thinking of repeating this experience next year.

My cruise was a very positive experience, the food was above average and the staff very pleasant. My only complaint would be the line up at registration and that the agent that registered us was too busy speaking to her colleague to address me and neglected to assign a dining table to us at registration - we ended up with a table beside the kitchen, thankfully our table mates were good company.

The best things about the cruise were visiting the different ports, ease of checking in and getting off of the ship, staff was very friendly and helpful, there were a variety of activities so you could be busy or just relax all day at the pool. The Spa also offered free workshops which were very interesting. The children enjoyed the disco night and the mardi gras night held on the Promenade. The most memorable things were that it was relaxing and very very beautiful out at sea and in all of the ports, and we met some very nice families. I thought the ship could have been cleaner. When we first got on we were told to head to the 11th floor for lunch, I took my daughter to the washroom and every single toilet was full, plugged and there was no toilet paper, I felt that several of the public washrooms were like this throughout the cruise and could have been much cleaner. I also thought that our room could have been cleaner, it was very tidy and our attendant was wonderful, leaving funny decorated towels for the kids and always replacing towels etc but I thought the room could have been cleaner. Also the day the window cleaners came our carpets were soaked with all of the kids backpacks, books and luggage sitting in water.

1. Better if first seating dinner was at 6pm and not 6:45pm. 2. Better if evening show was more varied, i.e. comic show and a separate magic show. Too many nights of singing and dancing. Also start the show at 9pm and not 9:45pm. 3. Would have preferred 8x10 photos priced at $14.95. 4. More books in ship library. 5. Gold coupon book could include more and higher discounts. (Liked two for one drinks.) Enjoyed evening formal dinner service, food in Windjammer and ship's decor.

The only complaint was the fact that RCI allowed small children to attend the late sitting for dinner(9:15) We had a table behind us every night that was two families with 4 small children incl strollers and all which ruined the experience for all at our table. Our next cruise will probably be on a smaller ship. I always get a feeling on Larger cruise ships they always have their hand in your pocket to get more money ...They add 15% gratuity to expensive and then still ask for extra tips etc and tours are very expensive. I think a better Itinerary would have been to include Mallorca and Ibiza and forget Marseilles. ie Sicily(not Palermo),Sardinia,Mallorca and Ibiza The one full day of cruising on the last day of a 5 day cruise was not great ,especially with the poor weather we encountered. We didn't have much chance to enjoy the balcony

Hi Anne We had a pretty interesting experience aboard this cruise. In fact we ended up jumping ship in Lisbon. The ship experienced a problem with one of the stabilizers in Lisbon. In fact they couldn,t leave Portugal until the stabilizer was cut off. They wouldn,t let us off the ship, they cancelled all the Spanish ports, the first day they gave us 100 dollars credit for missing the port in Cardiz. Then they finally ended up cancelling the port in Malaga. Then when we decided to leave the ship because we had some seriously upset kids (all that time on the ship with no ports) we decided to leave the ship in Portugal and make our way into Spain through the rail system. They would not give us a credit for missing Malaga because we were leaving the ship. But the reason we left the ship was because they cancelled the spanish ports. We also felt it was unsafe without stabilizers working as the ship was going from Lisbon to Barcelona direct. Anyways people on the ship were livid, there were ladies in tears and we were not even a little impressed the way they treated us. So how is that for a 14 day transatlantic cruise? I don,t know what can be done about it but we incurred some pretty serious expenses from all of this. I hope you had a better 2 weeks. Be talking to you. Louie and Beverly Palma

We chose this cruise as a way to enjoy a trip to Europe as a family (pregnant mom, dad, two small children and a grandfather), and it turned out to be an excellent choice for all of us. The ship was absolutely beautiful and offered enough different activities that we were never bored. The children's program deserves special mention - our 3-and-5 year-olds loved it. The staff engaged them in imaginary play and then centered crafts and other activities around it - for example, one morning they doctored a "sick" teddy bear and then made him colourful Get Well cards. Another evening they painted their own pirate bandannas and wore them on a treasure hunt. Our children never even looked over their shoulders as they raced into "school". We also enjoyed a lot of child-friendly activities as a family, such as ice skating, swimming, mini-golf, a family scavenger hunt and a children's dance party. The two things I worried most about - smoking on board and food quality - turned out to be non-issues. New smoking policies have been implemented, and we didn't even notice it onboard. And the food was excellent - although we had thought that we would use some of the premium (additional charge) dining options, once onboard we couldn't think of a reason why we should. The food chioces were refreshingly diverse (including sushi, fabulous Indian curries and Thai dishes) and of consistently high quality. All of the breads were baked fresh every day, and all of the essentials such as salad dressings and soup stocks were clearly made from scratch. We mostly ate in the formal dining room, but appreciated being able to grab something at the buffet of cafe pretty much any time. With the time changes, there were days when our children needed an apple or glass of milk between meals, and it was easy to quickly give them a healthy snack. Wherever we ate, the service was excellent, and we were quickly provided with booster seats and anything else we needed. If we had any complaints, it was that the tours were disorganized. When we landed in Lisbon, the tours were 1 to 1/2 hours late leaving because of the chaotic way in which the various groups were mustered and loaded onto busses. Similarly, after we had made the effort to book our tour early so as to avoid a line-up, we ended up spending an hour in line anyway to buy shuttle tickets for the afternoon after our tour because no one told us about the shuttle tickets in the first go-round. Our impression was that the tour staff had just changed over and that they were inexperienced. Unfortunately, the staff didn't have the chance to turn things around, as the ship broke down in Portugal and we had to miss the other two scheduled stops. Although the mechanical problem was not the staff's fault, a lot of passengers were really angry about this and the situation was not diffused as well as it could have been. Also, although all of the entertainers in the evening shows were highly talented, they almost exclusively targeted the seniors in the audience. You can't really blame them, as that was the main demographic on the cruise, but still, the material could have been a little more varied. Overall, however, we had a great vacation on the Navigator and all of us, from children to grandparent, would love to travel on the Navigator again. The mechanical problem was disappointing but obviously a rare misfortune, so it doesn't seem fair to count it in terms of evaluating the ship and its amenities.

The Navigator is a beautiful ship and probably the nicest we have been on. The 14 day Trans-Atlantic was very relaxing as we only ended up going to 2 of our original 5 ports, due to mechanical problems. The one thing we found strange was the lack of beverage stations! Most ships I have been on have 24 hour, self serve coffee/tea/ice tea/water. The Navigator has 1 place where you can get coffee and tea, but no where to get juice or water, other than room service. The ship has an ice rink where shows were done, which were excellent. There did not seem to be enough places to sit inside and read or play cards on the rainy days, however, the bars were very nice.

We had the time of our life. This was our 2nd cruise and we had a great time. The staff onboard the ship was very helpfull to us as the airline had lost our luggage. Guest services when out of there was to accommodate us. We didn't even need to ask. They just supplied us with the basic items we needed. They even collected our luggage at the airport for us and brought it to us onboard to our stateroom. WOW! The food and drinks where amazing. The service was out of this world. We felt like a king and a queen for 1 week! We have nothing negative to say about this cruise. It was perfect. We liked it so much that we are looking at going back with our kids in the fall. Thanks Royal Caribbean for a great time onboard the Navigator of the Seas. Patrick and Suzanne
