We participated in the shore excursions. The guides were great and the tours interesting. There were two exceptions The trip to Athens and Plaka was spoilt by huge crowds at the Acropolis and an indifferent guide. In Naples we took the Sorrento/Capri/Pompeii trip. Too much time devoted to shopping and lunch and once again we had a poor guide.

Our excursions were well organized, prompt, with excellent guides. It was lovely to be escorted through new cities and get an overview of the islands. The guides were very informative and spoke at length about the history and events. The ship was beautiful, very clean. The food was excellent with great services.

We totally enjoyed our cruise, The food and the service was excellent. The only thing they could have improved on is the coffee. We also like to tour on our own, they were really pushing the tours and we found them expensive for what you would get. It would be nice if they could give people who do tours on their own some tips. We met up with people that toured on their own and we all managed to find our way. It was alot and let me express the word alot cheaper to do your own. We had a great time and would highly recommend this cruise. This was our first time and totally enjoyed ourselves. We met up with a couple of other people that didn't find the food good. We though the food was excellent. We met another couple, really nice couple from Russia and they had water coming in the room and I didn;t like the idea that they were not getting compensated for this inconvience. They were such nice people and I think they took advantage of their good nature. This made me upset with the way Crown Princess was handling this situation. There were buckets situated thoughout the ship to catch water leaking from pipes. I just thought this couple should have gotten some compensation for this. I would have demanded a suite. I really hope they send a letter and get some kind of compenstation for thiis.

This was our first cruise. Princess was very organized from the start! From the time we arrived at the port for embarkation thru getting our luggage, shore excursions and disembarkation. We choose the "Traditional Dining" at the recommendation of our travel agent. I will say that it was the right choice, we met some very interesting persons. You also had the option of eating at one of the other restaurants on the ship (a feature i did like). The staff of the Crown Princess were very friendly and helped at what ever you required. We did the shore excursions (5 days worth) I really do recommend that if you only want to explore the port of call and maybe do some shopping that you opt to go on your own. However that being said, if you want to see the sights and know some of the history i will also recommend that you take a tour. I think that overall, this cruise made me want to continue with the option of cruising for a vacation. I will defiantly be using Princess again. They made the bar high in our books.

The best thing about the cruise was the itinerary. Most memorable things about the ship were the friendlinest of the staff and the arrival in Venice in the late evening - awesome!!!

Cabin steward was excellent and helpful. Suite sailing is a must for us for any future sailing. Most memorable was being with friends and good weather - ship was good but not outstanding. Most of the trip was a "money-grab" by Princess - we took 1 tour to Roatan which was terrible and a complete wast of money. We missed the Mexican port all together due to late sailing from Roatan harbour and we went to Princess Island instead - again a complete money grab by Princess- beaches were terrible and dirty, Man-made bays for swimming were rocky and poor and soft drink payment card was not accepted off the ship - really annoying for all of us. It seemed the cruise line wanted to ensure we spent all our money there instead of going to Mexico and skipping Princess Cay. Terrible decision and most passengers were annoyed.

Overall the cruise was pretty good. Weather was great. Staff was excellent. Issues with our room steward though. Always lots to do on and off ship. Entertainment was OK. Too much of the Princess singers and dancers, actually repeated performances a few days in a row. Not enough variety there. Getting on and off the ship was amazing. From past experience, they've really improved. Dining - food portions were not large, but they would keep bringing more and more, so that was good. MUTS - nice concept. Popcorn needs a little work!! Robes - Still had to ask for them even though we asked prior to cruise on profile. Towels - Very rough. After a little sun, they hurt! Elevators - Slow slow slow and overcrowded. Overall, it was all good, but not exceptional.

The best thing about our cruise was the overall level of service offered, especially the food at the Da Vinci and Michelangelo restaurants; the outstanding condition and service of the stateroom; the incredible high class design and layout of the entire ship. There are specific areas for all ages. The most memorable thing about the ship was the Caribean night party at the pool, the entertainment was great, fun and good dancing music. Don't see anything that could be improved.

There isnt one best thing about cruising. Its all fabulous. The attentive and caring crew members to the entertainment. It is all suberb. For us the most memorable thing about the cruise is the renewal of our vows. It was our 25th anniversary. We were very impressed with how organized the shore excursions were also. Keep up the awesome work!!!

We had a very good week, we knew the ship and how to work thier system, planning the day to get the max of what the ship offers, ballroom dancing a new addition, they have a great number of entertainers from bands to the full shows in the theatre. The new Cole Porter show was as good as anything we have seen in Toronto for quality of the setsand production to the quality of the singers and dancers. We ate in the dining rooms for most meals, we cut out lunch as the portions were very good but too large, why people eat at the buffet for dinner when you are paying for very good food and service in the dining room I cannot figure. Boarding on this ship is amazing from the time we got in line at the terminal to when we entered our cabin was 35 minutes.. Their own island Princess cay's was a pleasant surprise, the buildings are all permanent structures including many washrooms, they have interlock paths from the docks to within the beach areas and more than enough lounges for anyone. Good BBQ lunch as well. If this ship needs anything it is more shade areas on the deck areas, the ones by the pools fill quickly and not evryone wants to spend hours in the sun so shade is a premium. There are lots of lounges on the upper deck not used and with a few covered areas it would be ideal as also quieter there.

Entertainment was very enjoyable - everything on the ship was well organised - the buffet was particularly well organised - I personally don't like the format in the casino - would rther put cash in and have a slip out - the way it is worked with your card makes me hesitant to use it.

We had anytime dining, service is really slow. Quality of the food is not as good as they used to be. As for entertainmenet, the stage set up is really out dated, one show was recycle for the next day, that's really showing that the is major cost cutting in the production. There is no variety on the evening show, mostly dancing and singing with minimum stage effect, disappointing!
