The kid's clubs were excellent and our children loved the experience and made some new friends. The stateroom size was great for a cruise ship. Ours had a queen bed with lots of space around it. The kids room held all four of our kid's and we had a door between the suites. The rooms were quite sound proof except when the ship was docking into port. The staff were always kind and most always had a smile and a kind hello to give. The quality of the food was very good in the dining room and OK in the buffets. We still found lots to eat and the 24 hour ice cream was the kids favorite. We would go on this cruise again!

staff was very friendly, food was delicious, staterooms were great especially the linens only complaint was the limited pools. Too many people in one pool especially children and hot tubs full with children.

Everything was amazing. We took a cruise for our honeymoon and it was the first for both of us. Everyone was very professional yet very friendly. Our room was always kept clean and we liked seeing what new towel creature would be there each night. The food was excellent and there were so many choices. All of the staff made our trip stress free. We can't wait to go on another cruise.

The food was very good and had a great selection for all meals. Our stewards were very nice and kept the room spotless. Our waiters and waitresses were spectacular. It was a fantastic cruise, exceeding my expectations by a great margain.

This was our 11 year old daughters 1st cruise and she had the time of her life. They have a camp for kids on board and she just loved it. The most memorable thing was seeing the look on our daughters face (priceless) when she first saw the size of the ship, she couldn't believe it. I can't think of anything that needed improving. We will definately cruise with Carnival again. we will be planning a Hawian cruise in 2011 for our 25th annivesary. Thanks for all your help. Steve

Cruise was wonderful, boarding went smoothly, room was great...would have preferred a balcony, but not available on this ship. Ship has been recently refurbished and is very well done. Meals and entertainment were excellent. Our cabin was very close to an elevator which made it easy for my 87 year old mother to move easily aboard ship and to get to dining rooms. It was her first cruise! There was one pool and for the number of guests we felt it was small and overcrowded. We were scheduled for 2 port calls, but Cozumel, Mexico was cancelled due to the flu outbreak, so cruise ended up being 4 days at sea with 1 port of call. Ship's Captain made a good call on that and most were not upset. Overall is was a great vacation and the staff of Inspiration were phenominal! I will travel with Carnival again.

Overall, it was a good cruise. I have not been on any better - but I bet they are out there. Carnival was very good, except for the pushy photographers. Ship was clean, and food selection great. Suggest more restrictions on smoking, some areas wreaked of smoke. Also suggest kids < age 12 should not be allowed in the hot tubs. I will cruise with Carnival again. Thanks.

I came on this working cruise with (5) staff and (5) people in wheelchairs. The ship was poorly accessible. There were several key places where it was difficult and even impossible to get over the edges into various rooms such as the Buffet restaurant or even onto the deck. The serenity area for adults was entirely off limits to us because there were several stairs. Most of the doors were manual push doors which makes it difficult to navigate a door plus a wheelchair. There were not many areas where one could sit "outdoors" yet be under a covering somewhere for sun shelter so we were hardpressed to give our clients the full experience of the ocean. I am already booked on a Carnival family cruise in January but will seek cruises from Royal Caribbean in the future as we have travelled aboard these boats with wheelchair people before with greater success.

the staff were great especially Tawan in the Violin Bar- excellent worker!!!!and very personable- the most memorable thing was the entertainment- for improvement i would suggest that when people come on board to give them direction on how things work and where and when they can access different places- we were confused for the first two days of where we could go to change dining times, etc., some more detailed info would have been helpful- also captains night and how that worked- otherwise great experience but i unfortunately cannot handle the rough seas and would probably refrain from cruising again

Thank you so much for all of your help and advice. As first time "cruisers" we had little idea what to expect. It was an awesome experience. Although there was a tropical storm in the sea, you would never know it as the captain was very adept at what he did. We cannot say enough about all aspects of the trip. I must especially mention the 02 teen club. The teens loved it and spent many hours there. They kept mentioning the guy who was running it and how "cool" he was. We will definitely be travelling with Carnival again.

The entire crew was very nice, very gracious. The ship itself was nice, but the renovations could have been stepped up a bit. The Imagination and the Liberty are both superior asthetically to the Inspiration. Our stateroom was nice, clean, but we did have to ask that the bathroom be resanitized because it smelled of urine. The stateroom could have at least one more closet or storage space for luggage. The beds were very comfortable. There should be a better teen club for younger teens. My son was too young for the 15-17 club and too mature for the up to 14 club. Honestly, the younger teens enjoy the same music, ambiance, activites etc. as the older teens. I would add another pool or maybe an adults only pool. The Lido deck is far too crowded, too many lounge chairs, not enough walking space and the kids take over the pool. Serenity is nice, but too small. The cultlery was not as clean as it would like it. Lots of food and water spots. Also should offer more vegetarian selections like veggie burgers. This was a real challenge for my vegetarian relative. I would add more games for passengers and would find a way to involve more folks. Maybe a mystery dinner theater, game shows like jeopardy, deal or no deal, let's make a deal, family feud. Make them interactive so more passengers can be involved. Overall things were good. I like Carnival and hope to take may 4th cruise next year.

The total pleasantness of the staff on board was a big factor. They were not overbearing but still very attentive. What really surprised us was how fast our luggage was brought to us, both coming and going. They gave the impression of being so well organized without losing that personal touch. That is quite a talent. This was a great first experience for us, and we are hooked on cruise vacations.

If you have never traveled before on a cruise, I really recommend the inside and the closest to the middle. We experienced one day/night of extreme weather conditions and it was quite rocky. We all felt fine. I know the couple that sat with us were also first time cruise people and they had an end room same floor, and we didn't see them 2 times due to sea sickness. The staff were amazing very helpful and polite, great kids programs, the fitness/spa service were really good, room steward was great, very clean ship. The entertainment was good but we missed it a few nights due to kids falling asleep because the show was on too late. Also, make sure you show up early as the bingo people before took the good seats. It is too bad the show isn't broadcasted live into the staterooms as well. There is duty free shopping with great prices, various sales throughout the cruise, and many contests offered in the shops but you have to be present to win the prize so make sure you are there. Dining room experience was amazing, great food, some of the other food areas stopped lunch around 3 so if you did your work out after lunch, by the time you came down majority of the food was put away (salads, main meals) You really didn't want pizza after working out. Formal night was the best night, it was really nice to see everyone all dressed up. If you forget your camera...don't worry there are lots of photographers available to take your picture. We didn't really get to experience the slide or mini putt due to it being cold and windy it was closed, or the water was too cold. If you are traveling with kids that you give permission to roam the boat, I would recommend walkie talkies, this way you know where they are. For kids that in the Camp Carnival they give you a pager to use for your trip so you can check in anytime or they can contact you if needed. They had great activities for the kids and they made a lot of new friends. There were numerous activities to participate in if you chose to, or a private adult area with no kids and no noise and a hot tub. If you enjoy going to the casino, it was great also. We had a stop at Cozumel and we just walked to the market area and spent 3 hours looking around the town. Don't be to persuaded by the shops when you first come out....the downtown area has a lot to offer. Another couple we met did a Jeep tour and enjoyed it. Due to weather conditions many of the activities were canceled. Overall we had a great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise - and for the Camp Carnival Kids' program alone we will definitely be a repeat customer! Inside Stateroom was surprisingly large - ample space for 2 adults and a child, with a good-sized washroom. Food was good; however, comparing it to the other 2 cruises we went on, it was simply that - good. I would have liked some healthier options on the dinner menu, as I don't eat fish. The ship was very clean and crews were constantly cleaning up anything that may have been left by guests. We did not hit any of the entertainment options, but were told by our dinner-mates that they were all quite fun. We look forward to our next adventure wtih Carnival!

Dining - We only ate in the dining room once because of the early timeslot and us not wanting to be so scheduled. However, the one night was excellent and service was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the buffet all the other nights and didn't feel like we were missing much. Food selection was excellent. Stateroom - We had 5 people (2 adults, 3 kids) in our stateroom so we were expecting the worst. We were extremely pleased with the setup. We did not feel too cramped and there was more than enough storage for all our clothes and even the empty suitcases. The beds were one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in when away from home. Congrats to Carnival for providing such comfortable accomodations - we had the best sleeps ever on the trip! Entertainment - Typical entertainment. Nothing extravagant but enjoyable. Public Areas - Very clean and well taken care of. No evidence of wear and tear - hard to believe the ship is over 10 years old! Children's Activities - Excellent. I can not praise the programs enough. Staff was excellent and went out of the way to ensure each child had a great time. My only complaint was the children's program for ages 9-11 granted too much freedom for that age bracket. There was a slumber party advertised from 10:00pm until 3:30am. Obviously, all the kids thought it would be alot of fun, however, we felt it was bit much for a 10 year old and didn't allow our child to go. This caused unnecessary tension between parents and child. I think an all night party for kids under 12 is a bit excessive. But kids (even a 3 year old!) all had a great time. Overall - We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would recomment Carnival to all our friends and family. Ship did not disappoint and definitely a 'family' vacation.

Well let me put it this way ... It was a blast! We met some very nice people on the cruise, who we now call friends. Wasn't expecting that. They had karaoke, much to the wife's shegrin. They had a Hairy Chest Contest and I placed 2nd LOL We would do it again in a heartbeat. All in all it was amazing Ken and Sandra

Our time on the ship was great everyone was very friendly and helpful. The dining was excellent lots of choice and service was prompt. We enjoyed the show we attended Could have been a few more bathrooms out by the pool and sundecks Most times they were occupied or there was a line up Grand cayman was a great port of call, lots of shopping and tours to choose from. Calica wasn't that great if we hadn't book a excursion we would have been disappointed Not much shopping or scenery right at this port of call. Had to take a taxi to the next village and the taxi fare was quite a bit to get to playa de carmen. Overall our experience was good and we would sail again with Carnival

I feel you should have hand sanitizing dispensers at the entrance to the Brasserie and other eating areas. Public address announcements were given too rapidly. They could all slow down a bit.

Dinning room staff are very good. However, the porters who transfer luggages from Tampa pier are not kind, they asked tips. The step of coach which goes to beach in Calica, Mexico is too steep, a wooden stool will help.

Excellent opportunity to try out cruises. Did not care for the crush of sales people ( take this tour, day at the beach, come into the store, etc.) when we disembarked in Cozemel. Also being early risers there was a limited amount of activities avaliable in early morning or mid evening. For example shows, speciality buffets were all later in the evening 12:00 Am or 12:30. Overall a great holiday experience from the ease getting on board, excellent dining staff and room stewarts. Would crusie again.

The cruise was relaxing and part of a pre and post beach resort vacation. The ship looked and was great, it was always kept clean and the staff most helpful and enjoyable. We were always able to get lounge chairs on deck and enjoy the warm sunshine and ocean breeze. As for the dining room food, we were disappointed with the way in which the food was cooked and very different from other cruises. The menu was fine but the taste left much to be desired. However, we found the buffet food better as we could pick and choose what was best. Entertainment was great with something for everyone. It seemed to us that gratuities were a bit much but have wondered if employees are underpaid? We enjoyed the land stops during the cruise, it allowed the oppertunity to visit the different places and learn more about them. The weather was perfect all along the way and it added to our enjoying the cruise.
