Cruise Ship
Celebrity Constellation

About the Ship

Constellation is the newest member of Celebrity’s Millenium class. Like its sister ships, the 965-foot, 91,000-ton Constellation offers an upscale cruising atmosphere at a less-than-stratospheric price. From its abundance of outside rooms to its state-of-the-art AquaSpa, the ship is packed with modern amenities and services. Constellation was launched in May 2002; since then, the ship has spent winters in the Caribbean and summers in Northern Europe. The ship caters to North Americans and Europeans in search of mega-ship features--Constellation has six restaurants, eight bars, and three pools, for starters.

  • What to Expect

Passengers aboard Constellation should expect the latest developments in cruising technology and service. The ship provides upscale dining—two luxury restaurants can be found onboard—and a unusually high proportion of outside, oceanview cabins. Service is excellent, as are the public spaces, which range from the three-story Celebrity Theatre to the three top-deck swimming pools.

  • Amenity Highlights

Constellation is home to two Internet cafes, a multi-million dollar art collection, a name-brand shopping emporium that features a tailor, a spacious spa and fitness center, and an entertainment schedule that includes Cirque du Soleil performances in the observation and cocktail lounge.

  • Who Should Go

Constellation appeals to passengers young and old, though the onboard demographic consists primarily of middle-aged couples. North Americans make up the bulk of the passenger complement; Asians and Europeans are common as well. Most travelers are middle to upper-middle class, and all value the ship’s wealth of dining and entertainment options. Families are common during the summer months, when the ship’s children’s program shifts into high gear. While it has a hearty nightlife scene, Constellation is not primarily a party ship. Still, the Fortunes Casino and the many bars are often quite lively well into the early morning hours.

Itineraries

Constellation's primary cruise offerings include:
  • Caribbean from Ft. Lauderdale or Bayonne (10 or 11 nights)
  • Western Caribbean from Ft. Lauderdale (11 nights)
