Cruise Ship
Carnival Liberty

About the Ship

Launched in 2005, Carnival Liberty still looks brand new and offers many of the hottest amenities at sea. Throughout the ship, the decor showcases ornamental ironwork, carved wood, etched stone, pottery pieces, and photographs; jewelry pieces replicated from Harry Winston originals adorn the ship's public areas. Celebrated as a “fun ship”, Carnival Liberty offers an onboard experience which definitely screams fun, with entertainment options to suit everyone from the younger set to retirees. Onboard are formal and casual dining choices—including 20 bars and lounges—luxurious spa facilities, and a diversity of entertainment venues. The family-friendly cruise features a teens-only nightclub and a kid’s program. Among the many recreation choices are a 214-foot water slide and a 12-foot-high by 22-foot-wide LED screen on the Lido Deck. If quiet time is on the agenda, passengers have access to an array of oversized massage chairs located on the Promenade Deck, just past the wine bar.

  • What to Expect
Carnival Liberty offers an abundance of onboard entertainment and activity options from concerts and movies at the Seaside Theatre on the Lido Deck, to country line-dancing lessons to and karaoke in one of the ship’s many bars. In port, activities such as swimming with dolphins, snorkeling, shopping, and sightseeing beckon passengers to the many tropical destinations Liberty sails.

  • Amenity Highlights

  • Carnival Seaside Theatre: One of the largest at sea, this hard-to-miss LED screen offers movies, concerts, news, live onboard events, as well as a morning show hosted by Liberty’s cruise director.

  • Carnival Twister Water Slide: Guests of all ages take the plunge at this popular attraction where passengers soar some 214 feet down the water-soaked slide, plunging into the pool beneath.

  • Carnival Legends Show: Passengers become the stars in a Vegas-style show held the last night of the cruise. Throughout the week, guests audition to star in the evening performance which features dancers and a live band.

    • Who Should Go

Carnival Liberty caters to the active cruiser who is seeking a variety of onboard entertainment options and activities. Families and larger groups of 15–20 people are abundant on the ship. First-time cruisers and honeymooners round out the passenger groups, but the bottom line is that overall, the range of amenities, services, and recreational opportunities Liberty offers suits travelers of any demographic.
