About the Ship

The newest addition to Celebrity’s Solstice Class debuted in August 2009 with a host of upscale amenities. The 2,850-passenger Celebrity Equinox offers guests touches of luxury including distinctive color palettes in public spaces, an AquaSpa with solarium and Persian Garden, and a manicured lawn on the top deck.



Accommodations unite well-designed spaces with contemporary decor. Stateroom selections on the Celebrity Equinox include the cruise line’s new AquaClass of cabins, where spa elements, such as fresh-cut flowers, daily fruit and hors d’oeuvres, a pillow menu, and Frette bathrobes, contribute to the refined, relaxed atmosphere of the rooms.



Additional ship highlights include ten dining venues—one of which features a two-story glass wine tower—the Sky Observation Lounge, and the Celebrity Central theater.



The Celebrity Equinox will begin sailing in 2009 with a short season in Europe before she transitions to the Caribbean through the first quarter of 2010.
